Many of the stained glass windows are now up in the conservatory. They look amazing! There was some discussion as to how best fit them - but pins and caulk seem to have done the trick.

Heritage Open Day
Thanks to all of those who volunteered your time to help out on Heritage Open Day. Visitors to the house were really impressed with the glass panels and it was a great opportunity for them to chat to those involved and learn a little more about the process.
We fear Sue's classes may be even more in demand!

We have chosen to use a range of translucent cathedral glass to make the 42 conservatory panels from.
The panels each have a border of pale green glass with light amber squares in each corner and the same slightly textured clear glass surrounding the design in each rectangle.
Different tones of green glass have been used for the panels with accent colours of red and shades of amber running through the arrangement
The leading of some of the panels is nearing completion and the designs are starting to come to life
